At exactly ten inches it still plates as a cover piece rather than a server, so it belongs on the setting and not in the middle of the table. White melamine, two dozen packed together. Washable in a commercial machine, resistant to breakage, and flat enough underneath to stack without rocking in a pass-through rack.
