About this product
An 8-1/2" by 5" oval deep plate with a 1-1/4" well holding eight ounces — the appetizer and side-dish size in Venice’s deep plate line. The oval footprint fits a crowded cover where a round of equivalent area would not, which is why it turns up under antipasti, a side of sauteed greens, or a dessert with sauce pooled around it.
The raised wall catches liquid that a flat surface would let run. Melamine takes a fork without scarring the way soft glaze does. Forty-eight are boxed, white throughout, washable in a commercial machine and resistant to breakage.
