About this product
A nine-inch coupe plate: rimless, three-quarters of an inch tall, with the full nine inches available for food. Used as a dinner plate it suits modern plating, where a sauce or a smear is meant to reach the edge, and it reads cleaner in a photograph than a rimmed plate of the same width.
It also stacks lower than its rimmed counterpart. Case quantities match the rimmed nine-inch round, so a kitchen can order the two together and keep one shelf for both. Bone white chinaware, undecorated, stackable, and plain enough that a sauce reads as the colour on the plate.
