About this product
A nine-inch round with a wide rim and a well that drops an inch and a half, holding ten ounces — the classic soup plate, meant to be carried on a cover and eaten from with a spoon rather than lifted to the mouth.
The rim gives a server somewhere to grip and a diner somewhere to set bread down. Ten ounces is a course-sized portion of a brothy soup, a bisque, or a shallow pasta with sauce.
