About this product

Nine and a half inches is the dinner plate size a lot of operators settle on: large enough that a protein, a starch and a vegetable each get their own space, small enough that the plate does not dictate portion inflation.

The rise is seven-eighths of an inch, with a rim for handling. Half an inch wider than the nine-inch round in the same pattern, it gains more plating area than that sounds like, because area grows with the square of the diameter. Bone white chinaware, undecorated, so a menu change does not strand the stock.
