Seven inches, the lower of the two salad rounds Jersey makes. A plated garden salad, a cheese course or a shared appetiser portion fills this diameter without the food looking marooned, which is the failure mode of sending a small course out on a dinner round.
It is also the dessert plate for houses that find twelve inches excessive for a slice of pie. Against the JS-108 it gives up an inch of reach, which buys back rail space at a tight two-top where an eight-inch round would crowd the water glass. Three dozen to the case keeps a busy appetiser station stocked through a full service.
