About this product
Fourteen inches of rimless round is as wide as a plain circle goes before it is called a platter, and the AC-14-C sits right on that line while remaining a plate by the owner's rule and by how it is used.
Chefs reach for a face this broad when a tasting portion needs to float in white space, or when several small components are set out as a single course. An inch and a quarter of rise gives it marginally more containment than the 12 inch AC-12-C. The case drops to four, which is what diameter and the risk of transit damage cost in packing. Plain white chinaware, dishwasher and microwave safe.
