About this product
The Racingline Catch Can Kit is an oil management system for MQB 2.0 TSI EA888.3 engines, combining a 3-way baffled catch can with a replacement engine breather plate. It separates unwanted oil and moisture vapor from the crankcase ventilation system while correcting a known oil-surge issue where oil can build up in the top of the engine under high-G braking.
Racingline states the same breather-plate design is shared with Volkswagen Motorsport, Audi Sport and Cupra for their TCR race cars, built to keep the engine properly lubricated under sustained track loads.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does this catch can actually separate?
It separates oil and moisture vapor out of the crankcase ventilation system before it reaches the intake, and its baffled breather plate corrects oil buildup at the top of the engine under high-G braking.
Do I need the washer fill kit?
Golf R and early Audi S3 models do, since the kit's washer blanking plug affects the factory washer bottle connection on those cars. Select that variant above if it applies to you.
Is this the same hardware used in racing?
Racingline states the breather plate design is shared with Volkswagen Motorsport, Audi Sport and Cupra for TCR race cars.
