Twenty-two ounces in a seven-inch black square, walled two inches high. This is the main-course deep plate in Rome's dark run: poke, a rice bowl, a pasta portion, a stew served without a separate bowl. The dark ground makes a mixed dish read as composed rather than cluttered.
Depth-to-width stays around one to three and a half, so it behaves as a plate - the base is wide and flat enough to eat across. It is the deeper and wider of Rome's two dark deep squares; the RM-306BK is an inch narrower at fourteen ounces. Melamine, dishwasher safe. Shipped four dozen in a case.
