About this product
Room service and tray-line operations buy oval plates because a 9-1/2" x 7-1/4" footprint fits beside a bowl and a cup where a round plate of equal area would not. Orange red adds the second thing those operations want: a plate that is easy to count at a glance when the service comes back. This is an individual plate — the 12" and 13-1/2" ovals are Milestone's serving pieces, and the ten-inch line on the long axis is what separates them. Extra heavy weight melamine, three-quarters of an inch deep, twenty-four to the box.
