Wide and shallow is what a pasta bowl is for, and the MM-115 holds that shape at 11-1/2" across with a 2" wall and 22 ounces of volume. Dressed pasta spreads over the floor of the bowl instead of piling, which keeps sauce distributed and heat even.
The rim is broad enough to carry without a thumb in the food. Against the 12" MM-120 it gives up half an inch of width and two ounces of volume, but it is a quarter inch deeper, so the MM-115 suits a wetter dish and the MM-120 a drier, flatter one.
