About this product
A twelve-inch oval platter, the mid serving dish of the line. Past ten inches on the long axis a shaped piece stops being a plate and becomes something a table shares from, and at twelve this one carries a whole roast fish, a half chicken, or a sliced tenderloin fanned out with its garnish.
Eight and a half inches across the short axis gives real working width, so an accompaniment can sit beside the main item rather than on top of it. Against the JS-214 it is two inches shorter and a little under two inches narrower, which makes it the one that still fits a four-top without crowding the covers. Packed a dozen to the case.
