About this product
Nine inches, the entry dinner plate in Jersey. It is the size a lunch service, a hospital tray line or a banquet with a fixed plated menu usually asks for, because the portion is controlled and the plate does not dominate a crowded table setting.
The rim is turned wide enough to give a server something to hold that is not the food, and the centre well is flat so sauce does not pool at one edge when the plate is carried. Houses running this alongside the JS-110 get a two-tier plating scheme out of one pattern: the nine for lunch and lighter covers, the larger round for dinner service.
