About this product
Six inches of round with a turned well at the centre, sized as the partner to the JS-001 cup. The well is cut shallow but positive, enough that the cup seats and stays seated when a tray is carried at an angle.
The remaining band of rim is the part that earns the inch and a half it carries over the JS-004: there is room beside the cup for a wrapped biscuit, a sugar sachet or a spent teaspoon, which keeps those items off the cloth. Because the saucer is flat it also doubles as an under-liner for the JS-404 bouillon cup when soup goes out at the same cover.
