Yanco SH-002 Shanghai Chinaware 6-1/4" Saucer, Bone White — Case of 36 (3 dz)

Yanco cuts this saucer to six and a quarter inches across, with a recessed well that locks the SH-001 cup in place when a server is moving a loaded tray. The flat outer ring leaves room for a wrapped biscotti or a sugar sachet without crowding the cup.

Because the well is moulded rather than printed, it keeps its grip through years of machine washing. In a banquet setting the saucer doubles as an under-liner for a ramekin or a dipping dish, which is why kitchens often order deeper into saucers than into cups.
