At twelve and a half inches across, this is the widest round in Blue Star and the one a kitchen reaches for when a plate has to carry a whole fish, a mixed grill, or a family-style portion meant for the centre of the table. The upright rim stands a quarter inch past the inch mark, enough containment for a wet dish at this scale. Check shelf and rack clearance before ordering, since it wants appreciably more depth than the nine-inch rounds in the same pattern. A dozen in the carton, which is as many as porcelain this size can sensibly travel.
