Complete Intercooler and Charge-Pipe Upgrade
The UH033-ICA package combines Unitronic’s UH023-ICA intercooler system with its GTI-specific UH027-ICA charge pipe system.
Together, these components upgrade the intercooler, turbo discharge pipe, throttle-body pipe and the connecting silicone hoses. This removes restrictions across more of the charge-air path than an intercooler-only upgrade.

Improved Heat-Soak Resistance
Elevated charge-air temperatures can cause the engine-management system to reduce performance. Unitronic’s 23.5-inch by 2-inch by 16.5-inch bar-and-plate intercooler provides substantially more cooling volume than the factory intercooler while using a proprietary internal fin and louver configuration to promote efficient heat transfer.
Unitronic compared the factory and upgraded intercoolers through nine consecutive test runs. Despite increased inlet and ambient temperatures, the upgraded intercooler delivered substantially lower outlet temperatures and more consistent cooling performance.

This system replaces the factory intercooler, turbo discharge pipe, throttle-body pipe and associated charge-air hoses. Unitronic designed the components using 3D modeling for direct installation without cutting or trimming the bumper or radiator support.
