About this product
Shay is the quiet giraffe. Soft taupe spots on cream, pale pink inside the ears, and nothing bright anywhere — which is why she tends to be the one chosen for nurseries that have already settled on a palette.
Inside her is a sound box playing gentle white noise or a classic lullaby, on a 20 or 40 minute timer with two volume levels, switching itself off at the end. One press, then you can leave the room.
The blanket body is cream with spotted edges and loose corners, light enough to live in the pram and soft enough to be the thing that gets held through every nap. A velcro strap at the base takes a dummy or clips her to the pram.

When can my little one sleep with Shay?
Red Nose Australia recommends keeping soft toys out of the cot until 7 months. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends waiting until 12 months. We follow the more cautious advice, so ours is 12 months. Before then Shay is made for supervised play, the pram, the change table and your arms.
