About this product
Lylah is a cow with a black patch over one eye, a pale pink muzzle and small ears that stick out sideways. Her black-and-white print is high contrast, which is the sort of thing very young babies lock onto before they can make out much else.
The sound box inside plays gentle white noise or a classic lullaby for 20 or 40 minutes, at one of two volumes, then switches itself off. Used at the same point each evening, she becomes the cue rather than the entertainment.
Below the head is a soft blanket body with loose corners, printed in the same cow pattern. Light enough for the pram, small enough for the nappy bag, with a velcro strap at the base for a dummy or the pram handle.

When can my little one sleep with Lylah?
Red Nose Australia recommends keeping soft toys out of the cot until 7 months. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends waiting until 12 months. We follow the more cautious advice, so ours is 12 months. Before then she is made for supervised play, the pram, the change table and your arms.
