About this product
NaceCare ProSave PSP 380: A 4.5-Gallon Commercial Canister Vacuum for Long Cleaning Routes
A night custodian at a middle school has 22 classrooms, two offices and a library on one route. With a small canister, the bag is full by room 12 and the shift stalls while someone finds a new one. The NaceCare ProSave PSP 380 is a commercial canister vacuum with a 4.5-gallon tank, so it keeps going much longer between bag changes.
It uses NaceCare's 680-watt motor rated for 2,250+ hours, with 120 cfm, 100 inches of water lift and 49 dB(A), and it weighs just 14 lbs. Pick the tool kit that matches your floors, from the standard AS2 combo tool at $599 to a battery power brush for carpet.
The Owner's Insights on the ProSave PSP 380
The PSP 380 is the ProSave I'd hand to anyone with a long route: schools, office floors, churches and hotels with long carpeted corridors. It's the same motor and airflow as the ProVac PPR 380, so the floor gets just as clean. ProSave saves money on filtration (98.6% at 0.3 micron instead of 99.97%), a cord hook instead of a crank rewind, and a plain 3-piece wand instead of a telescopic one.
The trade-off for the bigger tank is size. At 14 lbs it's still light, but it's a taller tub than the PSP 240. If your rooms are small and your crew carries the vacuum up stairs a lot, the PSP 240 or James is easier to live with.
Why You'll Love the PSP 380 Canister Vacuum
4.5-gallon tank. Nearly double the PSP 240's 2.5, so fewer bag changes per shift.
680 W motor, 2,250+ hours, 5-year motor warranty. NaceCare says that's over double the industry standard.
49 dB(A). Quiet enough for daytime cleaning in occupied buildings.
84% soil recovery. More grit out of the carpet between deep cleans.
Plug Cable system. A damaged 33-foot cord unplugs and a new one plugs in.
Thermal overload protection. The motor shuts off before it overheats.
CRI approved, LEED-EBOM and CIMS-GB. For contracts with green cleaning terms.
Which Tool Kit Should You Pick?
Every PSP 380 ships with a 9-foot hose. The kit decides what touches the floor. Tap a picture to see it up close.
AS2, 12-inch combo floor tool. The standard kit, with a wand bend and two extension tubes. It switches between carpet and hard floor.
AH3, air-driven power head. A 12-inch turbine brush spun by the vacuum's airflow, with a stainless 3-piece wand, for $50 more than the AS2.
AST6, 15-inch carpet kit. A wide carpet tool with a telescopic wand and two straight wands, for classrooms, open offices and long halls.
AST8, 15-inch hard floor kit. A wide hard floor tool with a telescopic wand and two straight wands, for VCT, tile and sealed concrete.
13-inch battery power brush. A motorized brush with its own 24-volt lithium power wand and a fast charger in the box, up to 50 minutes per charge, CRI Gold approved. $400 more than the AS2.
