ProSave and ProVac share the motor, airflow, water lift, noise level and 5-year motor warranty. The savings come from three things around the motor. Filtration is 98.6% at 0.3 micron instead of 99.97%. The cord wraps on a hook instead of a crank rewind, though it still unplugs from the machine if it gets cut. And you get a plain 3-piece wand instead of a telescopic one.
For offices, schools and retail, none of that changes how clean the floor gets, so I'd buy ProSave and spend the difference on another machine. For healthcare or anyone sensitive to dust, the Henry's 99.97% filtration is worth the extra money.
