Mittler Bros. 2210-HD 10 Ton Hydraulic Bench Press with 25-1/2" Deep Throat
The Mittler Bros. 2210-HD is the big press in Mittler's bench press range: 10 tons of hydraulic force on a 25-1/2" deep throat. It runs the same punch and flare dies and press tooling as the 12" presses, a long way further into the panel.
A 25-1/2" throat reaches the center of a 51" wide sheet, which covers door skins, floor panels, firewalls and full bulkheads. Mittler rates it for a 3" punch and flare in 14 gauge mild steel, a gauge heavier than the 3 and 5 ton presses. The throat is 6" tall with 3" maximum clearance between tooling, and the stroke is 4". Mittler Bros. press tooling covers louver punches, corner radius punches, corner notching, a 90 degree bend kit and a shear assembly, all sold separately.
The frame is welded plate and box tube. A hydraulic pump is needed and is sold separately: Mittler's air hydraulic pump runs off shop air, or use the electric hydraulic pump. Mittler calls for a 10 ft hose minimum if the press sits on its optional stand.
