Mission Flat Arm Amish-Made American Oak Futon Sofa Bed

Handcrafted by Amish woodworkers in western Pennsylvania, the Mission Flat Arm futon frame is built from solid American oak with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery. Wide flat arms and vertical side slats give it a clean Mission profile. Order the frame alone or with an 8-inch futon mattress, in full or queen.

Choose it unfinished or hand-rubbed with plant-based linseed oil. Both options are VOC-free and chemical-free, with no polyurethane, lacquer, or synthetic coatings, and the joints are assembled with water-based wood glue.

Our mattress suggestions: Any 6- or 8-inch cotton-and-wool, foam, or latex futon mattress fits, including their organic versions.
