About this product
Mino ware comes from the Tono region of Gifu Prefecture, where potters have been working for over 1,300 years. Today the area makes more than half of Japan's ceramic tableware, so there's a good chance you've eaten off a Mino plate in a Japanese restaurant without knowing it.
This bowl is banded in layered color, a deep wine rim fading into muted gray-blue over a warm, natural base. Inside, fine concentric rings catch the light as you whisk.
