Miele Guard M1 Parquet XL Vacuum Cleaner - Brilliant White

The Miele Guard M1 Parquet XL is a German-built bagged canister vacuum made for homes that are mostly hardwood, tile, and laminate. It pairs Miele's 1200-watt suction with the extra-wide 16-inch Parquet Twister XL brush, so you cover large hard-floor areas fast, and it's tested to the equivalent of 20 years of average use.

Cleaning a big hard-floor home with a standard vacuum head is slow work: a narrow path, endless passes, and a head that jams in corners and around chair legs. The Parquet Twister XL fixes exactly that. At 41 cm wide with a swivel joint, it clears large areas in fewer passes and turns through furniture legs and corners instead of fighting them, with no motorized brush roll to mark your floors.

Highlights

• Parquet Twister XL (SBB400-3), an extra-wide 16-inch hard-floor brush with a swivel joint that steers into corners and around obstacles
• SBD365-3 combination floorhead also included, switching between bare floors and flat rugs with a foot toggle
• 1200-watt motor with 4-stage mode control, from gentle power for curtains and upholstery up to full suction for hard floors
• AirClean filtration captures 99.99% of fine dust (tested to IEC 62885-2:2021), with the ComfortFit system for sealed, hygienic bag changes
• Large 4.5-litre HyClean Air CO bag, so you change bags less often and never touch the dirt
• 36-foot operating radius with automatic cord rewind, so you can do a whole floor from one outlet
• Three onboard tools (dusting brush, crevice tool, upholstery nozzle) stored in a built-in compartment, plus a 13-lb body that's easy to carry

Who it's for

• Homes with large stretches of hardwood, tile, or laminate, plus the odd flat rug
• Anyone tired of pushing a narrow floorhead across a big open-concept space
• Buyers who want Miele suction and durability in a simple, lightweight machine

Wall-to-wall carpet, deeper pile, or a heavy-shedding pet? This model doesn't include a dedicated carpet tool, so it isn't the right match for carpet-heavy homes. Call or visit our showroom and we'll make sure you're buying the right machine for your floors.

FAQs

• Is it safe on hardwood and delicate floors?
Yes. The Parquet Twister XL is a dedicated hard-floor brush with no motorized brush roll, so there's nothing spinning against your hardwood, tile, or laminate while it cleans.
• Why does it come with two floorheads?
The 16-inch Parquet Twister XL is the fast, wide brush for your hard floors. The SBD365-3 combination floorhead is the everyday backup that toggles between bare floors and flat rugs, so one machine covers both jobs.
• Does it work on carpets and rugs?
On looped carpets and thin, flat rugs, yes, using the combination floorhead's rug setting. It doesn't include a dedicated carpet tool, so it's not suited to medium or deep pile.
• What bags does it use?
It uses 4.5-litre Miele HyClean Air CO dustbags. The large capacity means fewer changes, and the ComfortFit system makes every bag change sealed and hygienic.
• Is Vacuum Warehouse an authorized Miele dealer?
Yes. We are an authorized Miele dealer and an authorized Miele service and warranty centre, so your warranty is honoured in Canada.
• What's the warranty?
5 years on parts and labour, and 7 years on the motor.
