The Integrated Engineering Intake System for your Audi B9/B9.5 SQ5 is IE's rotomolded polymer air intake, built to deliver significant airflow gains while keeping intake air temperatures low. Increased turbo and engine efficiency add up to IE-published gains of up to 19 HP and 21 lb-ft on tuned engines, along with noticeably more turbo, throttle, and diverter-valve sound.
A special rotational molding process produces a single-piece intake with consistent wall thickness, strong corners, and excellent heat resistance, letting IE build complex shapes that maximize internal volume without the seams or leak points of a multi-piece airbox.

Flow Testing
IE's back-to-back flow-bench testing shows the intake flowing up to 24% more than the factory airbox on the stock turbo inlet, and up to 50.4% more when paired with the IE turbo inlet pipe.
Turbo Inlet & Hybrid Turbo Upgrades
This intake is designed to accept IE's cast turbo inlet pipe, which is an optional, separately sold upgrade that can be added at the time of purchase or later. CNC-machined, O-ring-sealed adapter rings are also available for popular hybrid turbo upgrades and bolt on to the IE turbo inlet to keep the largest possible opening from airbox to turbocharger.
