About this product
Against a soft wash of sky, a golden honeybee hovers — fluffy body, tissue-thin wings, and that determined hum that keeps gardens, orchards, and wild meadows alive. It's a love letter to beekeepers and their tireless muses, a reminder that sweetness is the work of many tiny hands (and six busy legs).
Handcrafted in our New York studio in the French tradition of découpage, the artwork is laid in reverse beneath crystal-clear glass, sealed with fine varnishes, and burnished until the bee seems to glow from within. Each tray is individually signed by Ben. The surface is food-safe and wipes clean; the back is felted so it lands softly on marble or wood. A folded card shares the time-honored process. Display it on a gallery easel or hang it with a plate hanger.
On a bar cart or bedside, it turns everyday rituals into small ceremonies.
