About this product
The yootech F500 pad is built from ABS plastic with metal detailing, and rubber rings sit on the top and bottom faces so a phone or earbud case stays put on the surface. Internal circuitry covers temperature control, surge protection and short-circuit prevention.
Three output modes cover different handsets: 7.5W for iPhone 15, 14, 13, 12, SE 2022, 11, X and 8, 10W for Samsung Galaxy S22, S21, S20, Note 10 and S10, and 5W for other wireless-charging phones such as Google Pixel. A green LED flashes on connection, holds for 16 seconds, then switches off for the rest of the session. Removing a thick case helps alignment.
- Pad measures 3.72 x 0.48 x 3.72 inches and weighs 2.12 ounces
- Includes the pad, a 3.3ft USB-C cable and a manual; no AC adapter, QC 2.0/3.0 recommended
When setting up the pad for daily use, place it on a stable, flat surface away from other wireless devices and metal objects that could interfere with the charging signal. The rubber rings on both faces help keep it from sliding on a desk or nightstand, but they also protect whatever surface sits beneath it. Because no AC adapter is included, check your existing chargers before ordering: the pad requires a QC 2.0 or 3.0 adapter to reach its faster output modes, and plugging into a standard 5W wall block will slow down charging noticeably. USB-C is the connection standard here, so the included 3.3-foot cable will work with most modern adapters without an additional converter.
The compact, nearly square footprint makes this pad easy to slip into a travel bag or desk drawer when not in use. People who charge one device at a time and prefer a simple, low-profile solution will find the single-coil design straightforward. When comparing wireless pads, pay attention to whether a model supports your phone's fastest wireless tier, since not all pads advertise the specific wattage for each brand. This one suits iPhone and Samsung users who want confirmed compatibility rather than a generic specification, and the automatic LED shutoff means bedside use will not produce distracting light throughout the night.
