A china bowl of this volume is heavy before anything goes into it. Melamine takes most of that weight out, which the staff carrying it notice over a shift. The surface resists the staining that tonkotsu and miso broths leave on porous ceramic. Safe through a dish machine, green tea matte with brown edging.
