About this product
A 4-1/2 inch rice bowl holding seven ounces, one portion of steamed rice for a single cover, which is the quantity most Asian dining rooms serve alongside a main. Two inches of height gives the straight-sided profile that lets a diner hold the bowl in one hand and eat from it with chopsticks.
It shares its footprint with the Yoto miso bowl, so the two nest in the same rack and stand at matching heights when both are on the table. Melamine runs cooler to the touch than china with hot rice inside it. Break-resistant, dishwasher safe, finished in green tea matte with a brown rim.
