At nine inches across, this coupe lands in the entree slot for most Asian menus: a donburi, a plated noodle portion, or a main course that does not need the full eleven-inch field. One inch of height gives it a shallow well, enough to hold a little sauce without turning the plate into a bowl.
The coupe profile has no separate rim to collect grease, which shortens wiping time between covers. Yanco finishes the Yoto bodies in a soft green tea tone and darkens the outer edge to brown, a combination that hides the fine scratching melamine picks up over years of tray service. Safe through a commercial dish machine.
