About this product
Eight inches square gives a salad course a footprint of its own instead of borrowing from the dinner plate.
The well is wide enough for a dressed green salad that has been tossed rather than composed, and at 3/4 inch of height a stack of six still clears a low shelf. Sea Wave's rim treatment carries the wave around all four sides, so greens pushed toward one corner remain inside the design rather than spilling past it. Kitchens running a fixed menu often set this as the opening plate and clear it before the 9 inch arrives. Thirty-six to a case matches the dessert plate pack, so a pair of cases outfits both courses evenly.
