It takes a slice of tart, a plated cheese course, or three canapés set apart from each other, and 5/8 inch of height keeps the profile low beneath a cloche. The square well sits inside a wave-formed rim that lifts a little at the midpoint of each side, which reads as deliberate rather than ornamental once a sauce is pooled off-centre. Set against the 8 inch SW-108 it gives up an inch in each direction, a gap a pastry section notices the moment plating gets tall.
