About this product
Eighteen by 10-5/8 inches in black, with a wall just under two inches. At this span the platter becomes architecture rather than tableware: it holds a station together, and the dark surface under event lighting stops a pale buffet from washing out.
The depth takes a sauced preparation, which an eighteen-inch flat board cannot. A loaded melamine platter of this size can still be carried by one runner, which is not true of the ceramic equivalent. It pairs with Rome's dark 16 x 9-1/2 and 14 x 8 to step a display. Dishwasher safe. Twelve to the case.
