Thirteen and three quarter inches long and six and a half wide, the RM-4407 is a slender platter for linear service: a whole side of smoked fish, a row of flatbreads, a line of petits fours, or three portions of a tasting course set end to end. Three quarters of an inch of thickness keeps it flat under an uneven load.

The narrow platter among the wide ones

Rome's rectangular platters widen as they lengthen, except this pair. At six and a half inches across, this one fits down the centre of a narrow table or along a bar rail where a proportionally wider platter would overhang.
