Because there is no rim eating into the diameter, an eight-inch coupe carries about as much food as a rimmed plate half an inch wider. They stack flat and tight, which is the other argument for a coupe. Bone white chinaware, dishwasher safe and microwave safe, with a clean edge that photographs well for menu work.
