An oval compartment plate, 13" by 7", with a 1-1/4" wall. The divided functional name holds the plate noun regardless of length, which is why a thirteen inch oval is still a plate here and not a platter.
The long narrow body with separated wells is the shape a sushi or a crudite service wants: a run of distinct sections down the length, each deep enough to hold a wet item without it migrating. It is the larger of the two Piscataway oval compartments, two inches longer and more than an inch wider in the waist than the 11", which gives each well a usable increase.
