About this product
A twelve-inch dessert plate, which in Yanco's naming means a deep-set round built for a plated sweet course rather than for an entree. The sunken field pulls the eye to the centre of the plate, so a single portion of something small reads as deliberate instead of lost, and a sauce poured around it stays where it is poured.
Twelve inches of white around a tart, a slice of cake, a quenelle of ice cream or a plated fruit dessert is a pastry section's working canvas. It shares its diameter with the PA-112 round in this collection, so the two stack and store together, but the roles are different: one is laid as a service plate, this one carries the last course. Chinaware, rated for dishwasher cycles and for microwave reheating.
