Yanco NR-12 Normandy Chinaware 9-1/2" x 7-1/2" Oval Plate, American White — Case of 24 (2 dz)

The NR-12 is Normandy's 9-1/2" by 7-1/2" oval plate, nearly an inch longer than the NR-41 and markedly broader through the middle. The width is what changes its job: at 7-1/2" across the short axis it carries a full oval cover rather than a starter, which is how fish houses and breakfast rooms use it, with a fillet or a two-egg plate laid along the length.

Its 9-1/2" major axis keeps it below the ten-inch line, so it is counted among the plates and not the oval servers. It ships two dozen to the case, matching the 9" and 9-1/2" dinner rounds it is normally run alongside.
