Nine and an eighth inches is the lunch plate: a full dinner presentation scaled down for a midday cover, a banquet plate, or a room where portion control matters more than a wide white margin.

The MM-8 stands 1" tall with a narrow rim, and a round that width covers roughly 65 square inches. Two dozen to the carton puts it between the three-dozen side plates and the dozen-piece large rounds in Miami's packing, which is about right for a plate used on many covers but not every one. Bone white chinaware, embossed border, dishwasher and microwave safe.
