The LY-2110 is the larger of Lyon's two oval appetizer plates, ten inches by seven with a one-inch rise. Two more inches of length over the LY-2108 turns a single-bite piece into one that holds a shared starter — a short charcuterie run, grilled vegetables, a half-dozen oysters on ice.
At exactly ten inches this appetizer plate stays on the plate side of the house size rule, and it is proportioned to sit between two covers rather than dominate the centre of a four-top the way a true server would.
