JP-1609 is a rectangle with a wave-cut profile: 8-1/2" by 5-1/2", the rim rising and falling along its length instead of running flat. That frames a starter or a small composed course without a border print, and it sets the plate apart from the straight-edged sushi rectangles in the same pattern.
It is also broader across the short axis than any of them — 5-1/2" against 4-1/2" and 4-1/4" — so it suits a dish with height to it: agedashi tofu, a skewer set, a small salad with a dressing poured at the table. Four dozen to the case. Melamine, Sand, abstract Japanese print, scratch- and break-resistant, dishwasher safe.
