A twelve-inch rectangle, six and three eighths across, walled an inch and a quarter. Past ten inches on the long axis this becomes a serving piece, and twelve by six is the classic sushi board proportion: two rolls laid end to end with room for ginger and a pour of sauce at one corner.
The raised lip is what separates this platter from a flat board, holding a marinade or a dressing that would otherwise run to the table. Twelve inches suits a two-top where the longer Green Gem boards would overhang the edge. Twenty-four to a case. Green glaze on chinaware, dishwasher and microwave safe.
