Eighteen ounces spread across eight and an eighth inches of width at a wall height of an inch and five eighths. The shape is deliberate: a wide, low bowl shows a dressed salad from above instead of burying it, and it gives a broth-and-garnish soup somewhere to display its contents.
Because the volume is spread rather than stacked, a portion cools faster here than in a tall vessel, which is useful for a salad course and something to plan around for soup. It stacks flat and close, so a side station holds two dozen in less vertical space than the same count of deep pieces. Green glaze on chinaware, dishwasher and microwave safe.
