Ten inches long by five and seven eighths wide, with a raised edge of an inch and a quarter. Ten inches on the long side keeps this piece on the plate side of the house rule, and the proportions bear that out: fifty-nine square inches of face is a single cover, not a server.

A rectangle suits a plated appetiser, a sushi order for one, a cheese and charcuterie selection, or a dessert laid out in a line. The GG-303 condiment piece was cut to sit against its straight edge.
