About this product
Ten inches long, six and a quarter wide, seven-eighths deep. An oval of this length is a plate rather than a platter, sized for one diner and not for the middle of the table, and the narrow waist suits food that runs longer than it is wide: a fillet, a sausage, a sandwich cut on the bias.
Ovals also solve a seating problem. Two of them fit a two-top that two ten-inch rounds would overhang. Golden Coast continues the shape at twelve and at fourteen and a quarter inches, where the pieces cross into platter territory and go to the center of the table instead. Twenty-four to a case; microwave and dishwasher are both fine.
