A nine inch pasta bowl with an inch and three quarters of wall and 25 ounces of working volume. It is the classic restaurant pasta shape, wide enough to swirl a portion of tagliatelle into a coil and deep enough that the sauce gathers underneath rather than running to the edge.
Yanco turns the same nine by one and three quarter inch profile for Rockeye, Diamond Black, Agate, Birmingham and Nature Art, so the proportions are proven across five other lines. Beyond pasta it takes risotto, a curry over rice, a noodle dish without much broth, or a one-bowl salad for a table of two. A dozen to a case, which is the right increment when a pasta section runs a limited covers count per sitting.
