About this product
A wide, shallow soup bowl: seven and a half inches across and just an inch and three quarters deep, filling at 14 ounces. The broad surface is the point, because it cools a hot bisque to eating temperature faster than a narrow crock does and it gives a garnish of herbs or croutons somewhere to float.
Within the Champs range this shares its footprint with the 7-1/2 inch salad bowl, but the wall here is three quarters of an inch lower and the fill is six ounces smaller, so the two are not interchangeable on a line. Use this one for broths, chowders and a starter portion of soup. Thirty-six to a case covers a busy lunch shift with a reserve.
