A twelve inch dinner plate, about thirty percent more surface than the 10-1/2 inch round in the same pattern, with an inch and a half of rise at the edge. That combination is why kitchens reach for it when a dish has to be built rather than simply served: a whole bream, a chop with two garnishes, a composed vegetarian plate with negative space left deliberately empty.
Check the dish rack before ordering, because a round this wide needs a large slot and will not sit in a standard sixteen-compartment rack. The matte dark green takes a ring of sauce dots or an oil drizzle cleanly, and the asymmetric outline means two of these side by side never look mechanically identical. Twelve to a case.
