About this product
The rice bowl does the quiet work on an Asian table and turns at every cover: four and three quarter inches wide, an inch and three quarters deep, eight ounces. Steamed rice beside a main, a dipping sauce for a shared plate, a small sweet at the close of the meal.
It is shallower than the Agate bouillon cup of similar width, and deliberately so. Rice is lifted from the surface rather than drunk, so the vessel wants an open mouth and a low wall. Three dozen to the case keeps a sushi bar or a noodle counter supplied through a season. Beige chinaware, dishwasher safe and microwave safe.
